Early Learning Tennis (3-5 Yrs) Term 3, 2018
If your child is old enough to swing a racquet, we believe they are old enough to learn the basics of tennis. The Tiger Tennis Early Learning Program (3-5 years) is perfect for any child that is interested in tennis and having fun.
We teach real tennis, introducing children to core fundamentals, with an emphasis placed on hand-eye coordination and footwork exercises.
Lessons are coordinated to be a mixture of hitting tennis balls, tennis coordination exercises and stroke development. The lesson setup uses modified equipment such as low compression tennis balls and 19 inch tennis racquets. Activities are imaginative and fun, so that learning tennis is relevant and enjoyable for even the youngest of tennis players!
The class size is capped at 6 students per coach in any lesson so the coach's attention is not divided between too many children. In addition our coaches are trained tennis professionals and experienced in dealing with young children. There are 2-3 drink breaks with every session. If a lesson has to be canceled due to inclement weather then the parent or guardian will be notified by text message on the lesson day and a catch up session will be re-scheduled via email.
All lessons are 30 mins long and run weekly for 8 consecutive weeks (week 2 - week 9 of SA School term).
At the end of the term, awards are given to all children, reminding them of the importance of participating and working towards a goal.
*Part terms cannot be purchased. Lessons are non-refundable unless negotiated for an extended illness.
