Welcome to the Parkside Primary tennis coaching enrolment page. This program is designed for Reception to year 6 students at Parkside Primary School. Term 1 lessons will be held on the school tennis court which is located on the Young St side of the school grounds. Lessons run over seven consecutive weeks (week 2 - week 8).

Term 1 Coaching Dates:

R-Y3 | Mon | 3Feb-17Mar | 3:15-4:00pm

R-Y3 | Tue | 4Feb-18Mar | 3:15-4:00pm

R-Y3 | Thur | 6Feb-20Mar | 3:15-4:00pm

Y4-Y6 | Fri | 7Feb-21Mar | 3:15-4:00pm

Cost: $169.95

Each lesson focuses on a particular stroke where the student will be taught the correct grips, footwork and technique. An introduction to scoring will also be covered. Hand-eye coordination drills will also be focused on. We endeavor to keep the student to coach ratio low so enrollments will be excepted on a first in, first served basis.

Certificates

At the end of the term, certificates of achievement are given to all children, reminding them of the importance of participating and working towards a goal.

More Information

If a lesson has to be be canceled due to inclement weather then the parent or guardian will be notified by text message on the lesson day and a catch up session will be re-scheduled at the end of term in either week 9 or 10.

Tennis Racquets

The correct size racquet will be supplied for those that choose to purchase a junior racquet with their enrollment below.
